We know it’s just July but it’s never too soon to start thinking about trends for the upcoming season. After all, the fashion industry is already thinking Spring 2015, ya know? Fall is one of our favorite times of the year with the changing of the leaves, the brisk weather, and of course Pumpkin Spice Lattes. So let’s get started!

1. Naked Lace Dresses.
Now get your mind out of the gutter. We’re talking a nude dress with a sheer lace overlay. Absolutely stunning as seen below. The trick to pull this off is to stick with a sheath or very subtle mermaid style dress.

2. Rustic meets Glam.
Rustic Chic has been a big trend the past few years but this fall up the ante by making rustic look glam with sophisticated dressy accents. How about black tie? Sparkle and sequins on the table linens and maybe even the bridesmaids dresses? Keep the look rustic with antique centerpieces filled with earthy flowers, and loads of candles or soft natural light chandeliers. In fact, to better describe this look just take a gander at Sean Parker’s breathtaking (and completely extravagant) forest wedding.

3. Neutral + Fall Colors
Wedding colors cycle about every two years and a neutral soft color palette is still going strong! To take this color palette into fall we recommend incorporating a moss green or a regal purple.

4. Farm to Table + Creative Displays
Farm to table food trends are continuing into the fall which means lots of local and seasonal foods. Transition from summer to fall with hearty foods and drinks displayed in creative and unexpected ways. Instead of watermelon and basil think apple cider and pumpkin spiced drinks. For creative food displays take an example from Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds wedding reception.

Utilizing antiques- such as farm tables or dressers can be a creative way to display hors d’oeuvre and dessert selections.
