Party Rock!

This downtown Raleigh wedding at CAM will go down as one of the most fun weddings we have ever had the pleasure of planning. Emily and Greg are a fun-loving, super sweet and madly in love couple who wanted a fabulous party “themed” wedding for their November 10 nuptials. We promise you will be smiling after seeing this wedding and possibly wanting a night out at the club.

Downtown Beauty

This wedding is an ode to downtown Raleigh. The ceremony took place at Sacred Heart Cathedral; you read that right Cathedral. Did you know there was a cathedral in downtown Raleigh? It is such a little gem. All photos courtesy of the fabulous team at Walters & Walters.

Speaking of gems, the reception took place at one of the downtown Raleigh’s newest- Stockroom at 230. Now don’t be confused the building is old but as a wedding venue it is fairly new and unique. It’s exposed brick walls and metal beams add up to a blank canvas that really seems to be drawing the brides in. This also is a dream for the crafty and creative bride, or wedding planner!, who is dying to let her creativity shine.

Ericka and Anthony, the sweet couple, wanted a family affair with traditional Italian fare. They achieved the intimate feeling with market and twinkle lights and a delicious spread by Capri Italian.

Classic Party Rentals provided the necessities and Kelly Odom provided the beautiful fall flowers while DJ Mel Manning kept the guests entertained.

The deliciously simple cake was provided by Sweet Memories Bakery.

How gorgeous is this photo? The bride specifically asked for a photo of her veil being swept up by the wind. We think she achieved this look beautifully.

And of course we love, love a sparkler exit with downtown Raleigh as the backdrop. Exit horse drawn carriage  by J&L Carriage.
